Infra Consultancy is a multi-disciplinary Consultancy organisation based in Birmingham UK since 1999. We specialise in helping International Companies identify and bid for Consultancy Projects in Africa (especially East Africa.)
We specialise in offering Project Management, Planning, Engineering and Complementary Services in roads, dams, buildings, energy and water sectors. Our expertise lies in our knowledge of local regulations, technical information, local customs and providing local staff. We also help identify local Partners that will add credence and knowledge to any bids submitted, which greatly enhances any Groups chances of winning tenders.
In 1984, P. Rughani, K. Rughani and A. Rughani formed a Partnership Company named Rucom Import & Export Co dealing primarily in the import and export of products from various countries.
In 1999, Rucom Consultancy Co was formed as a division of Rucom Import & Export Co. This was a multi-disciplinary Company offering Project Management, Planning, Engineering and Complementary Services in roads, dams, buildings, energy and water sectors.
In 2004, another division of Rucom Import & Export Co was formed, namely Rucom Recycling Co.

In 2008, Infra Consultancy Ltd was formed by the same partners as of Rucom Import and Export Co. The reason was that as Rucom Consultancy Co was expanding, the partners decided to create Infra Consultancy Ltd rather than operate as a partnership.
In 2013, a sister company to Infra Consultancy Ltd, Rucom Consultancy (Tanzania) Ltd was formed. The company deals with consultancy projects in Africa (mainly East Africa) and operates from Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania.
Infra Consultancy Ltd specialises in infrastructure services, covering all aspects of Structural, Civil and Environmental Engineering. The company prides itself on developing bespoke strategies that are tailored to fulfil the client's needs.
Infra Consultancy Ltd uses an innovative approach to achieve cost-effective solutions. With skills ranging from development, planning and design through an array of infrastructure and engineering disciplines. We have a comprehensive service portfolio which encompasses a wide range of services which also include town planning and land surveying.
We work to attain the best possible outcomes for the expectations of our clients. Our company understands the challenges faced by our clients and we combine this knowledge with our expertise to create unique project solutions and deliver them at the highest standard. We have experience of working with a range of clients on projects throughout East Africa.
